IRAC is pleased to release an updated version of its Index of Unpublished Decisions of the Board of Immigration Appeals, which now contains links to decisions issued through December 8, 2014. The Index is organized by subject matter and contains links to helpful rulings selected from an ongoing review of more than 8,500 unpublished BIA decisions.
Among other newly added rulings, the updated version of the Index now contains links to recent decisions:
• Reopening proceedings in light of an advisory opinion from the general counsel of the Tulsa County (Okla.) Sheriff’s Office
• Reopening and administratively closing proceedings to allow the respondent to apply for a provisional waiver (Form I-601A)
• Terminating proceedings after DHS exercised prosecutorial discretion for a respondent previously arrested for driving under the influence
• Ordering an immigration judge to consider evidence on a flash drive
• Finding ICE agents committed an egregious Fourth Amendment violation by entering a home without a warrant or consent
