The Immigrant & Refugee Appellate Center, LLC, is pleased to release the most recent update to the 2015 edition of the Index of Unpublished BIA Decisions, which now contains decisions issued through June 11, 2015.
Among other newly added cases, the Index now contains decisions:
• Holding that an inconclusive record of conviction does not render a respondent ineligible for relief that is unavailable to applicants with aggravated felony convictions
• Finding that a Mississippi statute involving conspiracy to transfer ephedrine is not an aggravated felony
• Stating that cases involving unaccompanied minors seeking Special Immigrant Juvenile (SIJ) status should be administratively closed or reset pending proceedings in state or juvenile court
• Rescinding an in absentia removal order based solely on the respondent’s sworn affidavit that he did not receive the hearing notice
